Hi Sir, i have bought Bluetooth Dongle, but when i have told them for Bluetooth Software's CD, they have not given any CD & they told that you have to PLUG & PLAY this dongle... it doesn't require CD...

So, now can i download Bluesoleil Free?

I got an old version bundled with a USB bluetooth dongle, which apparently doesn't come with any kind of registration or official license so I don't really get the program I guess?

 

Well it doesn't work, so I uninstalled it.  Then it gave me a red x on the network icon in Windows 7.  Network/internet still work, but I'm missing "adapters" in the "Network Connections" screen (namely one for a VM and a disabled hamachi one).  Doing system restore is how I "fixed" and found the issue, which brought back the old bluesoleil I'm trying to remove.  Uninstalling it again brings the red X back and causes the networks to go missing again.

 you get a red x on the newwork icon but your network works fine? few users has the problmes as you, we think this is one compatible issue between the newwork card driver and bluetooth PAN adpater driver.  Do you get any help from the network card provider? we are collecting more infromation and try to fix this issue.

 Great software but how can i minimize the audio popup display, is annoying having it on screen.

Surely there should be an option not to display this.

Works ok with Version 8, but not 10 it seems. Also try installing as Admin. Worked for me with ver 8.

I uninstalled BlueSoleil.

I added IsBSSupportAVRCPFunction=0 to the setup.ini file [bsconfig]

I then re-installed the software.

The pop up still appearing????

Is there a setting elsewhere?  in regedit.exe?

Hi, if you don' t want to display this, you can find setup.ini in BlueSoleil installation package, open it, find  [BsConfig], then add bellow setting under it: IsBSSupportAVRCPFunction=0  Thank you.

 what's the bluetooth chip of your bluetooth dongle? If it is from CSR, please use CSR pstool to change the Mac address.

i'm having problems on my win8 x84 machines. bluetooth will not start from a cold boot unless i turn off bluetooth before i shutdown. restarting a machine that has bluetooth running is fine.

is there a shortcut i can use to turn off bluetooth without the "there are active connections" warning until this is fixed.

2. If you bought a dongle with a BlueSoleil6 software CD from one retailer, you should ask your retailer if the dongle including the license for activating version first, if yes, you just need to insert your dongle, BlueSoleil  will be activated.

I guess its not the registration I'm having difficulty with. I currently have BlueSoleil 7.0.370.0 installed. My problem is that I am using Windows 8 and BlueSoleil 7.0.370.0 will not turn my bluetooth adapter on/off. I downloaded BlueSoleil 10.0.417.0 but it doesn't upgrade my 7.0.370.0, it prompts for me to uninstall it! Then after it uninstalls I install version 10.0.417.0 and after it installs the computer reboots. Then version 10.0.417.0 is installed on my computer and does not recognize that I used version 7.0.370.0. So version 10.0.417.0 prompts me to enter my serial number but I don't have a serial number for version 10.0.417.0. How do I get my free upgrade to version 10 since I am a version 7 customer? I cannot use my Azio bluetooth adapter until this is fixed! I need help and am just so confused by this whole thing.

This is the worst company where support is concerned. I bought the BlueSoleil dongle ivt6 at a computer shop in Cape Town. I did not get a seriel key with the product now I cannot upgrade the softwhere plus I get a error 183 message when trying to install the disk and nowhere on the site is there any information on solving this problem.  Can anybody help me please?

Actually it didn't. I thought the software would recognize my serial number automatically like it's supposed to but it didn't.

Tried to upgrade my install today, but it's only available in 64-bit?  Would've been nice had it said so initially...

Yesterday I bought bluetooth adapter  and I got the installation cd with bluesoleil 5.4.277.0 and I install, everything is great except when I click on "check for update" instantly take me to a page: http://www.bluesoleil.com/products/S0001201005190001.html

Can I make update? Or not? :(

But you need to buy a Bluetooth adapter or a serial number to activate it from our own website. Of course, we promised all of our version 5.x\7.x users free upgrade to  version 9.x and version 6.x\8.x users free upgrade to  version 10.x

If you bought a dongle with software CD from other place, you should ask your vendor first. He/She will tell you if you are eligible for free upgrade.  Thank you.

What keeps going on with this programme  v. 395.  I paid for it in 2010 (BS2010102000035) but regularly I get a drop down box informing me that "the latest version is 395"

Order No  BS2010102000035 dated 2010.10.20 for V 8.0.395.0.  I needed to reinstall  @ have had to downloaded V 9 as the V8 is not shown. When installed it shows as evaluation only. Tried to open my account but it defaulted to NEW bill for V 10 which I didn’t order !!  All I want is an activation code for either my old V 8 or the update V9 PLEASE. Please help and supply code. According to FAQ I SHOULD be entitled to a FREE V10 !!!!!??? Why then do I get EVALUATUION ONLY.

Sirs,

I find that I have to eat humble pie here.  I did a check PROPERLY of my software and discovered to my horror that the only version I had on my PC was 390... despite all my previous protestations.

HOWEVER, when prompted at log on an hour ago I first uninstalled my 390 version and used the link on my page to doenload the new 395 version.  For the time being that MAY have been a big mistake.  try as I might I have been unable to install the new programme and keep getting one of about three error messages.

 

As I type I am waiting for another NEW download and will keep trying.

I certainly DO wish to be informed of any NEW version.... BUT I am puzzled why I keep getting reminded of version 395 when I have had it installed for a long time now as shown on the order number above. 

Works well and am well satisfied.. just cannot think why I need reminding of what I already have.

Dear hoppy, if you don't want to be informed, you can right click the Bluetooth icon in the tray --> My equipment attributes --> advanced --> cancel automatically check updates --> Apply --> OK.  Thanks

I've tried to get the free upgrade yet it doesnt work. I have version 8. I still don't get any sound through my speaker even though I'm paired.
