What keeps going on with this programme  v. 395.  I paid for it in 2010 (BS2010102000035) but regularly I get a drop down box informing me that "the latest version is 395"

Order No  BS2010102000035 dated 2010.10.20 for V 8.0.395.0.  I needed to reinstall  @ have had to downloaded V 9 as the V8 is not shown. When installed it shows as evaluation only. Tried to open my account but it defaulted to NEW bill for V 10 which I didn’t order !!  All I want is an activation code for either my old V 8 or the update V9 PLEASE. Please help and supply code. According to FAQ I SHOULD be entitled to a FREE V10 !!!!!??? Why then do I get EVALUATUION ONLY.

Sirs,

I find that I have to eat humble pie here.  I did a check PROPERLY of my software and discovered to my horror that the only version I had on my PC was 390... despite all my previous protestations.

HOWEVER, when prompted at log on an hour ago I first uninstalled my 390 version and used the link on my page to doenload the new 395 version.  For the time being that MAY have been a big mistake.  try as I might I have been unable to install the new programme and keep getting one of about three error messages.

 

As I type I am waiting for another NEW download and will keep trying.

I certainly DO wish to be informed of any NEW version.... BUT I am puzzled why I keep getting reminded of version 395 when I have had it installed for a long time now as shown on the order number above. 

Works well and am well satisfied.. just cannot think why I need reminding of what I already have.

Dear hoppy, if you don't want to be informed, you can right click the Bluetooth icon in the tray --> My equipment attributes --> advanced --> cancel automatically check updates --> Apply --> OK.  Thanks
