I am a happy user of Blusoleil, but whenever I try to download the upgrade I get

The system will automatically return to the homepage in 5 seconds...

Are the download links broken?

I am using Ubuntu 10.04.1.  Is there a BlueSoleil 8.0 version that is compatible?

 Dear Team, 

I had Bluesoleil 6.4.249 installed in my desktop. I visited this site and downloaded version 8 (as it was free for version 6 users). During installation, it asked me remove the previous version. I did it and installed the new one. Unfortunately, it is asking me the serial code again. And i do not have it. Please help me out of it.

BlueSoleil 6 users have free access to the latest version.  You can use your serial number of BlueSoleil6 to activate BlueSoleil8 directly.

I am running a Gateway laptop system. I have XP pro installed and running very stable. The Bluetooth USB option that I purchased and used v6 of this software wouldnt work. I then uninstalled v6 and updated to v8 as per instructions on this site. The software won't even initiate ("turning bluetooth on"), it just hangs the system. In both installations of the software one from the disk which came with the USB bluetooth dongle and the download version the install gets hung for way too long to justify the normal installation process. I have spent many years working on data centers, building servers, installings systems, and teaching others to do so; this software is buggy and the hardware?, well I am not certain since there are so many issues.

Thank you for a good try, but I am returning the product and trying again with another vendor. I hope this assists in getting the kinks worked out. It looked like a good product when I compared with the others.

Hi, I would like to confirm are you BlueSoleil v6 user?  i mean BlueSoleil v6 users could free upgrade to v8, so you could use v6 serial number to solve 5MB prolbem.

just download the software package and install it into your PC, then the upgrade process is completed.

I have downloaded and installed version 8 as an upgrade to version 6 (uninstalled first).

But version 8 keeps telling me that hardware (dongle) has been removed, then found, then removed....

So, re-installed version 8 without the dongle installed at all. Now it doesn't work at all.

I checked that drivers installed are IVT, not MS (they are).

Hardware fine, version 6 worked fine.

I would like to re-install version 6, unless you can tell me the problem with version 8. But I can no longer download version 6, or even version 8

From our experience, ofen this phenomenon happen when you haven't plug in the dongle very well. And please change to another USB interface and to try again.

Meanwhile, most people have reflect that Ver.8 work more stable, support more deivce,based on BlueSoleil 6's features takes advantage of Bluetooth v3.0 High Speed technology...... So am i right in thinking you met new difficulty? why not just say them? just believe us the ability to help you!

The process for installing our software is very easy. Please just first uninstall the old version from the control panel. then double click the Ver.8 package to continue the installation.

I was frustrated by the fact that after downloading the update that the download got stuck on updating usb drivers. I thought that I had lost the software and that it would no longer be of any use to me. I couldn't even cancel the download. I then restarted my computer and downloaded the software again after removing the usb dongle. That time it completed the download and the software works fine. I apologize for making a stupid comment about the software that turns out to be indeserved. The software is very good and it works well.

No doubt that our ver8 support Windows 7 OS, so we think maybe some other factor take effect....Anyhow, I list the common one for you to confirm again: maybe you can't start the bluetooth? Or the service you want failed to work? Or it run well on other OS but only refused on Windows 7?
