The last two versions have failed to work properly for me, and I have removed the device. The last effort to install the software drove me crazy so I wont bother to try this version, and I will just do without Blue Tooth .......... unless the first corresponden is correct that I could find free software from other developers !!!!

No problem..... when I plugged the dongle into my new lap top without first running the instalation disk, it installed using Microsoft drivers already there.

Blue Soliel have nothing but contempt for end users. I paid for a zoom dongle from IVT, it came with blue soliel. It works for a short time, then nags me to pay for a licsense. I downloaded a new version , installed it, and again after a short time it starts naging me and limiting my app to 2 GB. This is very questionable in my mind. Why do so many software companies feel they need to steal from us?
This is simple make a version, for people that paid at the market, and make it work, no problems, no stupid upgrades, ( that do nothing except nag the end user).
You took my money now give me the software thieves.

Good Day,
I just installed the Bluesoleil v8.0.373.0 software on my Windows 7 hp laptop. Where as before I had v6.4.289, it worked great. Now I cannot get the bluetooth to start. It will say starting but never finishes. The icon remains grey (i.e. not turned on).
Any help would be appreciated?
I have pulled the dongle out and put it back in. I have unstalled the software and then reinstalled it. I have tried to pair with my headset but it won't pair because it's not on. I have restaerted my computer. I've tried a lot. HELP!!!

The free upgrade from 6 to 8 is a complete disappointment! Was working on a project that was suddenly shut down when I decided to download the free update from 6 to 8. Very convincing is the litrature to upgrade, on their website as well as microsoft windows 7 Solve PC sent this to me;
Solve a problem with Blue Soleil 6 
Blue Soleil 6 has stopped working properly.
A newer version of this software is available for download that addresses this problem. Blue Soleil recommends updating to take advantage of security and stability improvements.
Now i can't use the program or bluetooth dongle at all because it limits 2mb and then promptly shuts down any functionality unless you pay for a new serial number. I won't purchase any other products they offer and especially not pay for another serial # for the product! Their deceit has been a waste of my time. Blissful Fool

Thank for choosing BlueSoleil.
we had upgraded BlueSoelil to v8, but we do no limit of v6, means users who has v6 and don't want to upgrade to v8, he/she can still using v6, so i'm afraid your issue is not related to version update.
what's more, you don't need to paid again if you already have v6 before.just use the old serial number is ok for activate v8.

Tu dois avoir un problème avec ton périphérique bluetooth, celui-ci ne doit pas être activé ou alors il n'est pas installé. Ton icone bluesoleil est grise dans la barre des taches de windows ?

Hi, i'm having trouble with the latest version (370, i was using 356 before). When blusoleil auto connects to my headset the audio breaks up and then goes quiet. :( If i disconnect bluetooth advanced audio and then reconnect manually the headset works fine. :)
Please fix this. On the plus side the bluesoleil voip plugin is working again.

I find those comments from beyondallken and dbolivar21 quite unfair, except for the notion about the price.
I couldn't get the bluetooth to work with either the basic windows7 -drivers nor with the drivers that the computer manufacturer provided, but bluesoleil worked immediately. Besides, you don't have to buy it in order to test it, so there's no reason to waste money if it won't work for you. Just download and try.
If it would directly support my Nokia N900 and cost a third of this, I'd give it 5 stars. On Linux I have perfect support for my phone, and all the drivers there are free.
