I bought the dongle that comes with Bluesoleil 7.0.356.0 but when I tried to install 8.0, it will remove the previous version. The new version become a evaluation copy, how do I activate it?

Is that true, so someone with version 6 can upgrade to version 8 while version 7 is not upgradable. WHat nonsense is this?

BlueSoleil 8 is "only" free to upgrade from V6.
Bluesoleil 7 might be free for V5 to upgrade,
Seems u need to keep using V7 or to buy V8. May be u can get a discount.
