CAUTION: I purchased this I purchased this Dongle on Retrevo for $4.99 thinking it would allow me to allow my laptop to be Bluetooth compatible. It is only a pice of hardware. I have read for two days and it appears I have purchase the device, but you must purchase the program from China for $19.00. The device won't work unless you purchase a SS# from BlueSoleil. WARNING!! DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT unless you know more than I do. It is only good for the trash. Notice there are no replies to these comments.

Hi, here they're talking about the hardware only, not the software. I have to admit that it is really confusing: as you read item description, you can understand the dongle is packed with a bunch of software. But not, according to other users comments.

But I have tried the piece of software, BlueSoleil Bluetooth Stack V7, and it works fine. IMHO, it's worth $20. You won't get the same with Windows, even Seven. And it is mandatory with Windows XP that does not support any audio profile (HSP, HFP, A2DP) natively. This is why I bought V7 stack online here. I am now just waiting for my activation key :)
