I have used BueSoleil since last year and I have no complaint until now, where I am getting a Popup message "Activating Bluesoleil over the internet...." I know that the software is properly purchased and activated however this is popping up and giving me a headache I know the support team will find the cause of this issue and provide me with a solution to this problem...

I also have this annoying popup problem (W7 32 bit) with 8.0.395.0.

Under Help, Activate BlueSoleil is dimmed. The manual Activation app returns error 0x209.

Just thought I would reiterate what's already been said by other posters. Application has been running without issues for about a year.  After encountering problems (as descrbied in previous posts) I downloaded the latest version (8.0.370.0) but the behavior did not change.  The application attempts to activate roughly every five minutes.  A pop up claims to have activated sucessfully, but the connection to my blue tooth headset is broken.  About 1 minute later the device automatically connects again.  The cycle just repeats itself making the software unusable.

I have tried to use the activation tool, but recieve the following message after pasting the activation code provided into the Unlock Activation code text box:   "Activate Fail!.  The error code is 0x209."

Can someone in support please help.  Has anyone sucessfully resolve this problem other than daveb?

I also followed the activation tool instructions and I also got an "Activate Fail!" message. I hope this repeating "connecting to the internet" problem is fixed soon, since it's made the software unusable for me.

Thanks for your contribution. However, I did this precisely as you indicated, and the moment I copy and paste the activation code into the lower  box and click on activate, I get the error message:  "Activate Fail! The error code is 0x303."

Any thoughts on how to get this to work.

(I have tried this when the BlueSoleil Classic View have been open and closed. Also, the Help/Activate BlueSoleil option is always grayed out -- as though Activation has already occurred -- but BlueSoleil keeps trying to activate online every  minutes, which kills my Bluetooth headset connection, etc.)

 I had this for a while - can be solved by the following:

 

Download, extract and run the following: http://www.bluesoleil.com/download/files/ActivationTool.zip

Open Classic View of BlueSoleil, click on About BlueSoleil in the Help menu

Copy the Serial Number (SN) into the top box in the Activation Tool and enter it to get an URL to a page containing your activation code

Copy that activation code into the bottom box and enter that

 

That should solve it, worked for me. It might be too late for the OP but hopefully will be useful to anyone else with this problem.
