Silvair, a Discover Blue: London attendee, is looking to change that. The company believes that technological innovation plays a major role in transforming energy use in commercial spaces. Silvair created an end-to-end smart platform based on Bluetooth® technology. This solution gives manufacturers the ability to provide enhanced experiences to their customers. Silvair is deeply involved in the Mesh Working Group—the group working towards standardizing mesh networking support. Silvair is one of the first companies to implement a version of Bluetooth Mesh. It illustrates perfectly how mesh technology can be deployed in commercial and residential environments. For the many analysts and media that attended Discover Blue, Silvair’s platform shows a how a Bluetooth radio can effectively address all the major challenges that professional smart lighting systems typically struggle with, such as range, scalability and latency.
