Hello,

Is it posible to remove all BT services leaving only Serial ports available?.

I have been using Bluesoleil 6 with a Laser Range device that send data to my computer using serial port over BT. With Bluesoleil 6 it worked  depending (i think) on how services where related to RFCOMM channels. For laser range device to work it seems RFCOMM1 has to be a serial port. If RFCOMM1 is not a serial port resetting the BT device reassigned the services.

With Bluesoleil 8 it seems Services are always located the same and the laser range always try to connect to the Audio BT services. Even after resetting the BT. Is it posible to remove this service? I have tried deactivating the audio service but the other device is still trying to connect to it.

I have been having different problems from yours, with the software I just bought here. This is a re-post I posted in other threads. After hours of frustrating research, I have found that most questions, even months old, still have no responses.

I even sent an email off to sales@bluesoleil.com, the only email address given by PayPal when I paid for my software. That was at about 1:00pm on April 14, 2011. So far, no response, but Chjina was mainly sleeping then. Hopefully, I will soon have proof that BlueSoleil monitors their email inboxes more diligently than they do their forums.
