[ Hi I want to make a bluetooth chat app ]

Hello guys,

I'm a freelancer developer.

Recently I found a bluetooth chat app source without pairing based on Android.

And it works great among android devices.

Could really use your sdk in order to do that?

In detail, I want to add some desktop PCs including my windows XP to this bluetooth chat function.

Please let me know some good points.

The 32feet documentation mentions it is possible to create an unsecured rfcomm connection, but I don't see them specifying Blue Soleil as a supported stack for the function, so I don't know if it will work with Blue Soleil. They only mention Windows, WidComm, and Bluetopia/BlueZ stacks.

From 32feet:

just use BluetoothClient and BluetoothListener and do not set cli.Authenticate=true etc.

Hi Jim,

I just look around your kind links.

Like you said, there isn't any comment about Bluesoleil.

There may be .net codes.

Do you think those codes can run on Windows XP environment?

I know dotnet framework 2.x and 3.5 can be runnable in Windows XP.

But it is about the relationship between Windows XP bluetooth and Bluesoleil.

Anyway thanks Jim, you guided me some directions. It is very helpful.

Is there anybody who did this work successful? I wanna follow him. :)
